Throwback Game Against The Packers

April 28, 2009 at 01:23pm by Scott   •  2 Comments »

You know, Brooks was one of the guys who supported this throwback game.
The Bucs will wear their throwback uniforms at home against the Packers on November 8. This made the most sense since the Bucs played so many games against the Packers in those uniforms back in the day.

It would have been fun to see Derrick Brooks in the orange and white one more time, but this photo will have to do. I am looking forward to seeing Ronde Barber, Barrett Ruud, Sabby Piscitelli and Tanard Jackson in the throwbacks, though. Davin Joseph ought to be a fun one, too… so big and mean looking and dressed up in creamcicle with a queer pirate on his head. Hopefully by the time this game rolls around in November, Kellen Winslow will have played well enough so that I can enjoy seeing him in the sacred orange and white as well.

I just hope the Bucs will still have something to play for by that time. It will be real downer if they play as silly as they’ll look in those gay uniforms.

The Bucs should get brooks to suit up (not play obviously) and be an honorary captain at the coin toss at the throwback game…
that would be sick…
