Your List Is Wrong

JC De La Torre from Bleacher Report is a Bucs fan from way back, and he listed his top ten Bucs games of all time, which is always a fun way to pass the time. Except he’s wrong.
The Downpour Game that put the Bucs into the 1979 playoffs was brutal to watch and only had any meaning to it because the team choked away the previous three games. And last year’s Chiefs game was good, but not top ten good.
To replace those, you have to include the 2003 Colts “Leaping” game even though it was a loss. And De La Torre loses all credibility by not including the 2000 MNF game against the Rams, possibly the most exciting Bucs game ever played. But he’s a real fan, so I don’t wish bad things on him. Just not good things, either.

During the leaping game Brian Kelly got hurt and was never the same.

or am I mistaken?

No, you’re not mistaken. That injury, plus the non-call of a penalty on Indy on their successful onside kick, cost us that game.

And yes, not including that 2000 Rams-Bucs game is damn near sacrilege. I busted my shin on the Goddamn seat in front of me from jumping up and down so much after Warrick Dunn scored the winning touchdown. That game has to be top ten, or I’m a porn-addicted pervert.
Oh, wait…

I’d leave a comment over there about how he needs to research some of his facts (we weren’t 4-12 in 2004) and he should run his posts through a grammar checker, but I’m too lazy to register.
I also think his writing sucks (I had to quit reading it), but I’d be too polite to mention that.
