Aqib Talib Is Bored

And so am I, so you get a cheerleader.

Buccaneers.com has a video of a few players, including Aqib Talib, Josh Freeman, Sammie Stroughter and Brian Clark, working out at One Buc Place during the current dead period. According to the video, Talib was bored with his downtime and wanted to hit the ground running when camp starts. Very cool.

But I’m surprised Freeman is even allowed at One Buc now since he isn’t under contract yet. If he gets hurt in some freak accident when he’s on Buccaneer property, who is responsible and how is that handled? Once the last of the OTAs are over, I thought the rookies had to stay away until they were signed. At the very least, this is probably a good sign that Freeman and the Bucs aren’t having problems with negotiations and predicts a signing before camp starts next week. Again, very cool.
