Bucs Sign New Punter

Remember that punter who rocked Clifton Smith last year during a return? He’s a Buccaneer now.
[Sam] Paulescu has played in a total of 12 NFL games over the past three seasons, most recently filling in with the Washington Redskins for one contest on November 8 of this year. Ten of those games came with the Dallas Cowboys in 2008, when he replaced the injured Mat McBriar and punted 53 times, averaging 41.8 yards per kick.
Paulescu is currently second in the league this season with 50.0 yards per punt, but that’s only on three punts, so it’s not really a good sample. His career average is 42.4 yards per punt, which isn’t all that great and probably explains why he’s been bouncing from team to team and filling in whenever someone gets hurt. For those keeping count, this is the sixth kicking specialist the Bucs have gone through in twelve weeks.
That’s 90 words on a punter, first thing in the morning. My work here is done.

Im kind of dissapointed. Seriously thought we were going to just be aggressive and keep going for it on 4th down for the rest of the year.

I’m going to miss Dirk Johnson, he has the best porn name ever.

On consonant off IMO. Other greats would be Dick Stone and Jack Hammer.
