Bucs Plummet All The Way To Number Four

That sound you heard was all the Buccaneer quasi-fans slicing their wrists because their team actually played for the win and not for April. The Bucs are now tied with Kansas City for winning record, both with three, but the Chiefs have played the easier schedule and would be selecting #3 if the draft was held tomorrow. The Bucs would pick next at #4. I’m not going to continue to belabor the same damn point again because I’m tired of hearing myself say it — and that’s really saying something because I absolutely LOOOOOVE the sound of my own bitching.
Know this, though: There is no way the Bucs can earn the first pick. And they’re almost definitely not getting #2, either. We can go over your silly trade fantasies later, but there is no practical benefit to rooting against the Bucs now. So next week, guys should just put on their Bucs caps and girls should dress up like slutty Bucs cheerleaders and root for your team to crush Atlanta under their boots. It’s the home finale. Make some fucking noise, people!
Draft Berry.

Oh yea!!! Let’s fuck Atlanta next week and keep those pussies from getting their 2nd winning season in a row.
I think we can FINALLY put to bed the notion of the Bucs drafting some DT from Nebraska.

Amazing game yesterday….Cadillac IS the bionic man.
May be blasphamy, but chasing Cowher is not the answer. Successful coaches rarely have the same fire (or success) the next time around. With the exceptions of Schottenheimer, Coughlin and Shula. I’d argue that Seiffert, Holgren, even Gruden, were not as good at the second stop as the first. And then some guys learn from the first job(Belichik) – Point is, there’s no guarantee with any coach. Who knows, Raheem may even be growing into the job- if only he’s not 3 seasons like this away. At least the players are playing hard – although I’d like Raheem better if he could string 5 words into an intelligible sentence. I don’t think the guy’s an idiot—but he sure sounds like it sometimes.

Man I’m psyched. I’m not about to go round tugging on Raheems johnson or anything, but we held NO to 17 pts and that’s got to be worth something.
I sure hope that if the replace Morris they bring someone in who can work w/ our current players, esp on defense, because I think its safe to say that with the right coaching they’re a capable bunch.
There’s a lot of potential that I hope an offseason of chemistry building can bring to the fore on the offensive side of the ball as well.
At this point if they can land a big fish HC wise, I’m fine with that. We’re already losing STs and that’s going to hurt more than I think anyone realises.

O.K., so I don’t root for the Bucs to lose. But there’s degrees of being upset when they do and this is a time when a loss wouldn’t bother me at all. You end the article by saying “draft Berry.” But Berry who knows whether he’ll be there when the #4 spot comes around. That’s the trouble with these wins. They’re nice to have right now but as soon as training camp starts they won’t matter and the draft position will, especially when it’s the difference between #1 and #4.

Scott I will not entertain the thought of silly trades of moving up in this draft. I’ve been fooled once before (DAMN the Lions)…
