John Lynch Has Moved On

2004: “In closing, I would like to say to the people in Tampa that I will always be a Buccaneer. I’ll be playing someplace else next year and I look forward to that, but I would always be a Buccaneer in my heart. These years have been special to me and my family. I thank everyone for them.”

2007: “When I came here, I didn’t think it could be the way it was in Tampa again,” Lynch said. “I didn’t think we could get so emotionally involved in another city. I didn’t think it could happen again twice. … I am a Bronco. I’ve always focused on what’s happening now and not the past,” Lynch said. “Tampa was a special place for us. … But it seems like years and years ago.”

Can we all please just let it die now?
