2011 Cheerleading Squad Announced

The Buccaneers finally released the roster for the 2011 cheerleader squad on Friday after what seemed like a year of tryouts. Here’s the list:

Meagan Pravden is back, along with Milly Figuereo, Britney Craine and Lauren Spires, all favorite veterans. But no Marlana Aref? She must have moved onto something else because there’s no way she tried out and didn’t make it. And some of the rookies look promising, although you wouldn’t know it from the screengabs I had to get from the announcement video the Bucs posted. I have to apologize to all the cheerleaders now (and if there’s anything I can do for you — or more to the point, to you — to make up for it, please let me know) for the awful pictures I had to settle for. The Bucs didn’t bother taking decent stills of them and, while I applaud making these chicks constantly jump up and down for our amusement, it makes getting a decent shot of them on this lo-res video next to impossible. Seriously, they couldn’t stand still for a half-second? It’s almost not worth stalking these broads anymore.
