- Lions rookie guard Manny Ramirez is really tired of being asked how he balances his football and baseball careers. But coincidently, he doesn't give a shit how the season turns out, either.

- Chris Cooley of the Redskins actually thanked the Lions for giving up in the second half of their game last week. The Lions would have responded to this criticism, but it seemed like too much work.

The Lions' big threats on offense are, unfortunately, Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson. Johnson has been quiet for the last couple weeks, but has demonstrated that he cam, indeed, catch the ball. The Bucs' secondary has been playing well all season and I might look for a nice decapitation by Tanard Jackson on whichever receiver wants to cut across the middle of his zone. Their strength on defense is Rogers and Ernie Sims. Arron Sears is going to have probably his biggest test this season against Rogers, who is just a mauler. And Sims is one of the faster linebackers in the league. Jeff Garcia will have to rely on something besides his elusiveness to get him through the game. I'm betting Ike Hilliard and Earnest Graham both have good days catching the ball. Bucs by 7.
