Bucs Are Anti-Lightning

Voluntary OTAs were cut short today in Tampa because of lightning. All that money spent on the new facility and property and no one thought to put a roof over one of the practice fields? You know if this kind of thing happens on a regular basis, Jon Gruden will have no problem having walk-thrus in a ballroom or a garage somewhere.

Anyway, for what it's worth, Aqib Talib told reporters that this practice was faster than the rookie minicamp and that his locker is beside Derrick Brooks's, which is surely by design.

Earnest Graham was not at practice, but Jeff Garcia was, which gives me hope that he's willing to wait his turn. Here's how the Times told us about Garcia's presence and Graham's absence:

Running back Earnest Graham was absent from Bucs workouts, which continued Tuesday at One Buc Place... Jeff Garcia was here at the workout, though there's been no new updates on any contract negotiations.

Here's the same information from the Tribune, only douchier:

Jeff Garcia was back at work Wednesday, but word is he has yet to meet again with the Bucs regarding his contract. It's pretty obvious that nothing is happening on the Graham front either.

Someone buy Joe Smith of the Times a Coke for just conveying the facts without the 'tude.

Does that count as a Garcia update?

Poor Carmella must have a hard time finding pants that fit her. She's never wearing any.
